The honest version

WELC does not pay more than any other Rain.gg referral code. It gives 3 free cases and a 5% deposit bonus, which is what every working Rain.gg referral code gives. Any page telling you WELC unlocks a superior tier is guessing, or hoping you will not check.

So why do we list it first? Three reasons, none of them about the size of the bonus.

1. It is the code we test first

A referral code works only while the affiliate account behind it is active. Codes do go dead, quietly, and most sites never notice because they copied their list from another site and only refresh the date at the top.

We apply WELC to a clean Rain.gg account, confirm the 3 cases land in the inventory, and check the 5% against a test deposit. That is the actual basis for recommending it — not a claim about its tier.

2. It applies cleanly at signup

WELC is a plain four-letter word with no digits, which removes an entire class of failure. Codes containing numbers invite character confusion — RA1N9 for RAIN9 is a real and common mistake. On a mobile signup form, that matters.

3. It is unambiguous about when to use it

“WELC” reads as a welcome code, and that is exactly the situation it is for: a brand-new account, code entered in the referral field before registration completes. There is no second interpretation to get wrong.

When to use RAIN9 instead

Reach for RAIN9 when:

  • WELC was rejected. RAIN9 runs through a different affiliate link, so it is a real second attempt rather than the same code renamed.
  • You found RAIN9 first. No reason to switch. Identical reward.
  • You prefer a shorter code. Five characters, one digit, easy to type on a phone.

There is no wrong answer between the two. That is the point.

What no code will do for you

Worth being blunt, because this is where people lose money:

  • No referral code changes drop rates. Outcomes are fixed by the server and client seed pair before the roll, which is the whole idea of provably fair.
  • No code stacks with another. One per account, permanently.
  • The 3 free cases are entry-level. They are a trial of the platform, not a payout.
  • 5% of a $20 deposit is $1. Real, worth claiming, and nowhere near enough to change the maths of a gambling site.

Rain.gg is 18+ and carries real risk. Claim the bonus because it is free, not because it shifts the odds — it does not.

The recommendation

Use WELC if you are creating a Rain.gg account. Use RAIN9 if it will not apply. Enter whichever one in the referral field before you finish registering, because it cannot be added later.
